Obsessive-Compulsive-Doodle-Craze

I did this doodles while sitting in my Speech 100 Basic Communication class.

I guess I should thank my Speech Instructor, Cordova, at Lane Community College, for providing the impetus for this doodles. Thanks.

  2. I guess we both agree the colored squares and balls are our favorites. I must say, however, that I am really impressed by the "text" one, too. Reminds me of Byron Gysin, William S. Burroughs right hand man. Check out this work. Don't know what the word and/or words are, but they are words. Gysin took WSB's cut-up technique and applied it to art.

  3. Thank you, both, for your wonderful feedback.

I agree that these "doodles" reflect my personality--it has been said that every portrait is a self-portrait.

Regarding Byron Gysin, I will check him out; thanks for the tip.

  4. The "Text" doodle is an amazing way to illustrate how some art teachers instruct us to "Use our words" and on the other hand can also say to let "the picture tell the story"...I think you nailed both with that doodle...I too really like the squares and circles :) I like the depth and dimension, that feeling of mobility...very fun to look at :) I hope you have a fun day:)
